… end to begin

Life is so insanely unpredictable. I’m coming to learn to enjoy the “plot twists” and evolution of the characters and their persons.

It’s in the twists and turns where we are made strong, our character is molded, & our perspectives challenged.

The fragility of life reminds me to be forgiving and loving of those around me but at the same time so careful and protective of my heart and time.

One day you’re in, one day you’re out. One day is up, the next is down.
One day feels like an ending, the next day holds a beginning. If we keep our heads up, we’ll see the amazing possibilities that await us.

…. here’s to being open to purpose and accepting goodness in the most unexpected packages. 🙂

  1. Hi Alaina,

You and I haven’t formally met yet but we share an amazing mutual friend. 🙂 She had directed me to your page for support and relating a couple weeks ago after my husband and I lost our 3rd pregnancy. We have been trying to get pregnant since 2008. After several failed clomid attempts, IUI cycles, and most recently our first costly failed IVF attempt we haven’t had our miracle babie(s) yet. We have had 3 losses in the last 3 years all of which have occurred in January. 🙁 I’m sure you can relate all too well to the devastation and trauma.
I just read about your lil sweet angels. I am so sorry for your loss and I wanted to reach out to you because my heart wanted to tell you that there is nothing in the world that can take back what happened but I wanted you to know you aren’t alone. My heart is going out to you. Sometimes just knowing there is someone else out there going through something similar helps give us a small sense of peace.
I am praying for you all, I am praying for your future children of God that the Lord will bless you and your husband with.
Life can be so extremely unfair and foggy but as long as we keep our eyes on God we can rest assured that he will bring us all of our heart’s desires. Although I haven’t reached a truly peaceful moment yet as we are still trying to cope, heal, and recover you have been a soothing spirit and I have been blessed that even though I don’t formally know you I know there is someone else out there who understands what each day brings for us.
Thank you for sharing your story and I will keep you all in our prayers.

  2. Hi Alaina, You are so insanely inspiring. I think everyone battles with something, hopes for something, pleads and believes for something. No matter what we are hoping for it is important and meaningful to us. It represents our personal level of prosperity, the greatest gift we could receive. Your perseverance and dedication is amazing. It inspires me to continually lean on God, to continually hope in Him alone. No matter what happens, no matter the disappointment and hurt you are always filled with love and obedience. I thank you for allowing God to use you to inspire other Christian women. There are so many of us who are embarrassed and ashamed about what God hasn’t done, about the blessings we are hoping for that have not come to pass. You my dear are an example of patience and pressing, the very essence of a believer. Thank you for allowing the spirit to lead you. Thank you for sharing your story, thank you for being an inspiration. I pray God continues to bless you in amazing ways, I pray that the very thing you hope for comes to you in abundance and overflow!!!! I stand in agreement with you for all your heart desires. Sending much love to you my dear sweet sorority sister and more importantly my sister in Christ!

Have a thought to share? I'd love to hear it!
